为贯彻落实习近平主席致首届世界青年科学家峰会贺信的精神，推进高端国际青年科技人才的人文交流及创新合作，2022年世界青年科学家峰会启动“暑期学院”项目。

一、项目简介

依托高校及科研院所，首期将招募8-15名国际青年访问学者，开展为期1-6个月的定向访学。我们也将通过跨学科研讨、跨文化交流、沉浸式体验等方式，加强国际访问学者与国内青年英才的互动交流与思想碰撞，筑牢友谊基石、促进科技合作，打造世界青年科学家峰会的新亮点。

二、招募条件

招募对象符合以下条件：

1、在国际著名高校、科研院所或科技型领军企业从事科研工作。

2、具有高级职称;或进站博士后研究人员;或科技型领军企业技术研发骨干。

3、年龄一般在45周岁以下。

互联网+、生命健康、新材料等三大研究领域优先，具有代表性的学术或研究成果者优先。

三、补贴待遇

本项目提供国际访学者人民币6万/月的补助，包括住宿费、餐饮费、交通费等，另补助人民币2万/人的国际差旅费。具体由接收单位与访问学者商定。

四、申报要求

1、申报时间：2022年5月23日-2022年6月15日

2、申报方式：分为社会招募和单位推荐,《申报表》提交至联系人邮箱。

3、6月底在世界青年科学家峰会官网公布录选结果。

4、疫情期间，可能因防疫政策调整或其他不可控情况，世界青年科学家峰会执委办将第一时间发布通知。

World Young Scientists Summer Academy Program Call for International Visiting Scholars

In order to implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter to the first World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) and promote cultural exchanges and cooperation for innovation among high-end young scientific and technological talents around the world, the WYSS 2022 will launch Summer Academy Program.

I. Introduction

In cooperation with partner universities and research institutes, the first Summer Academy Program will recruit 10-15 international young visiting scholars to carry out study visits for 1-6 months. Interdisciplinary seminars, cross-cultural exchanges and immersive experiences will be offered to encourage the interaction and brain storm between international visiting scholars and domestic young talents, so as to lay a solid foundation for friendship, promote scientific and technological cooperation and forge a new highlight of the WYSS.

II. Requirements

The applicants shall meet the following requirements:

1. A scientific research background in world-renowned universities, research institutes or leading tech companies.

2. With senior professional title, or as an in-station post-doctoral researcher or a key member in R&D Department of leading tech companies.

3. Generally speaking, the age of an applicant shall be under 45.

Three major research fields are preferred, including Internet+, life science and healthcare, as well as new materials. Applicants with representative academic or research achievements are preferred.

III. Subsidies

This program offers a subsidy of RMB 60,000/month for international visiting scholars to cover accommodation, meals, transportation, etc. In addition, an international travel allowance of RMB 20,000/person is provided. Details shall be agreed upon between the host organization and the visiting scholar.

IV. How to apply

1. Application Time: May 24 – June 15, 2022

2. Applicants may apply independently or be nominated by their employers. In either case, the application form shall be emailed to the contact person.

3. The selection results will be released on the official website of WYSS by the end of June.

4. In case of a COVID outbreak, the WYSS Executive Committee Office will issue a notice as early as possible on the adjustment of pandemic prevention policies or other uncontrollable circumstances.
